So, it's kind of hard to compare. If you really want to go up in pitch, try looking for an old 24 Mach. They seem to have a little less stern lift which makes them a little more efficent than a bravo. I had great luck with one on my old baja. Stay away from the Hydro's, I hear they blow out pretty easy on a Sonic. Good luck with it and keep me posted on your findings. Very useful information

Sonicblaster, I have a 2001 Prowler with a 502/415 HP, turns the 22" Bravo 1 5000 RPM with a speed of 63 MPH. When I run my 24" Bravo 1 RPM of 4700 with a speed of 63 MPH (better cruise speed,worse planing). Sounds just like my boat as far as performance. Steve
