These were the results from Boating Mag in January 2003 with 496 HO's. Anyone else running or tried 28P props with 496 HO's?
I currently run anywhere from 67 - 70 mph on gps with 496 Mags. The boat will have 496 HO's and better breathing exhaust this spring.

1997 31ss, 454 mags, 365 hp, labbed 24" props tweaked to 25", best of 69.1 gps, 67-68 more normal light load, cool day, 65-67 full fuel,people, 90 degree day, 90mph behind my dually

they really must have shortened the X after mine(1993) was built to spin 28's
