What 45SS is refering to are where the windscreen meets the gunwale. They all cracked there but it is a gel coat crack nothing more. The gel is actually too thick there and cracks because it can't flex.

I have not seen any stress cracks on mine, nor did the surveyor when he checked the boat out. But now I am gonna go look very closely and see.

Mine had NO stress cracks.
Fastest I know of:
Beccas- 575's with chillers 95?mph
Dano's- 575's with chillers (he no longer owns) 98mph
Carrboys old boat- 525SC's with pulleys 90?mph

bigboat28, I was on the end of the house boat rentals tied up to the gunsmoke boat. The motors are the 425 hp. Love them turn key and go. I don't have one complaint.

I bought mine this year and love it, the ride is great no more listening to the wife complain. Also the walkway around the boat is great.
