Default 358 Pricing

Contemplating putting ours up for sale (2000),
however not sure what a fair price would be. New trailer and headers last year and will be rebuilding the original 502's this winter. Any thoughts on a figure?

Do a comparison from a few sites such as Yachtworld.com, boattraderonline.com, powerboatlistings.com, and the like. See what the average is and go from there.

No offense but trailers are usually included and maintenance items do not add to the price

Comparisons are tough because ours will “theoretically” have zero hours on the rebuilds. I understand the maintenance issue (stainless headers) and that goes without saying, but the trailer was a 10K investment a year ago. How about thoughts on market areas, is South Florida moving boats? It might be possible to just sell the boat to someone who has a lift and then sell the trailer to a dealer.

With just about nothing selling these days added bonuses like trailers and any upgrades for free are what is going to help make a sale possible. Trust me I have one boat for sale that I have dropped the price of over $40K and am willing to include such additional perks as free winter storage, free winterization and even a free jetski just to see if I can get it sold.

I do fully understand you position and trust me I just put a brand new trailer under our Sonic that will be included in the purchase price if and when it is put on the market but not at an additiional cost to the buyer.

My $.02: Look up wholesale without anything like new motors and a new trailer.......if you can get THAT number your doing good right now. (I sold my last boat like that 18 months ago.....didn't get anything for motors with about 20 hours or anything extra for a 12 month old trailer either.)
