I went and looked at a Sonic today. It is a 1990. The boat had stress cracks in the cabin liner on the port side along the floor and also a long crack along the walkway on the starboard side in the corner between the walkway and where it goes up for the deck. Is this normal and is it anything to worry about? Has anyone seen this before on their boat?

spider cracks on the walkway are common and not important. The cracks in the cabin and where it goes up to the deck would worry me. If you are interested in the boat, have a fiberglass repair shop look at it first.
My 1997 31SS saw it's share of rough water and has No stress cracks to this day.

The crack is in the corner of the walkway and where it rises for the deck. That crack is on the starboard side a few feet in front of the drivers seat. The crack does not go up to the deck it is just in that L shaped area.

The crack in the cabin is in the liner at the bottom and only on the port side it is maybe a foot and half long, again this is in the edge, corner where the floor turns into the rise for the seat base.

I had a 30SS ,older model but same boat.
Had exact the same cracks,,,nothing to worry about.
I beat the heck out of that boat and never ever had a problem,,,they are like a rock,, VERY SOLID BOAT.

Daredevil you had the same cracks along the walkway and in cabin, how bad did they get? Did they keep getting worse? They are nothing to worry about right?

i have a clean 96 for sale with no stress cracks in the boat
