Default After 2 years I made the leap on a SONIC !

It has been a long time coming but I purchased a 1999 28 SS in February. Its been a cold winter in MN and Im looking forward to getting out on the new boat. I Drove a 2600 mile round trip to CT from MN to pick it up. Im glad it was as clean as was advertised. Im currently doing raw water pumps on the twin small blocks, Fluid changes on the drives and a few other odds and ends. Come on spring!

Gotta have pics!
Congratulations!
You did well to find a boat that lived up to its advertised condition!

I went all the way to CT to get mine, too. They must like Sonics out there. Where in MN? I boat on the St. Croix and Mississippi Rivers.

Congrats!

I had a 1995 28SS that I bought new. I watched the factory
build her. She was a great boat!

Mine ran 60, and got a little over 3MPG at cruise.
Cruse was 40mph at 3100. It would run all day at that
speed in the ocean.

Enjoy!

Myturn,

What motors did you have in your 28? I only get around 2MPG with my 6.2's.
