Hello all,
I'm new to the forum, just purchased a 2002 31 Sonic. Can't wait to get it in the water. Anyhoo, I need to replace the trim & tab cables. I've read several posts here on the subject full of great info. I'm looking for recomendations on what to buy for new ones, brands, part numbers if possible or specific model numbers. My current cables are marked as follows:
Ultraflex USA C0 FT15 211
C0 FT23 E29T
C0 FT20 341
C0 FT23 E29T
Thanks for the help,
Brian

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I have bigger problems to deal with first. Dropped the boat in the water, fired her up, no water coming out the exhaust. I just replaced the impellers last week. Whats odd is that both engines did the same thing. Didn't take long to start heating up. I took apart the starboard side sea pump just to be sure the impellar was in right So know begins the fun eliminating possible plug ups. Going to start with the heat exchangers.

Were pieces missing from the old impellers? If so, you need to backflush the system to get them out. Otherwise, make sure you put the water pump hoses on the correct locations. That's a common mistake.

No. Found this one down in Maryland. It was on Ebay. This one is yellow, orange & purple. No arch.

I just ordered a couple of the R&R rebuild kits from Grand Sport Center. Figure while I have everything apart again I would put them in.

If the housings are scored the R&R kits should fix it. I replaced my impellers for maintenance and 2 weeks later had low water pressure codes. fixed it with the R&R kits.
