couple numbers from boattest.com
2006 formula 400 ss twin 502 - 415 runs 1.04 mpg at 3500 rpm
formula 353 twin 500 efi at 1.11 mpg
baja 40 triple 525 at 3000 rpm 1.09 mpg
I would guess triple 500 efi would be less thursty, let's say 1.11 mpg, then this would mean this boat would not burn more gas than a 353 !!!
better go to bed before I get lost anymore...

Those numbers seem a couple of tenth's high. I have an article with the 45SS with 525 triples getting .8 miles to the gallon. Three tenth's could be hugh seeing as these boats have 300 gallon tanks. If you want a three engine boat right now you better have cash on hand they are not loaning money on these.

38 Sonic is a better boat than the Baja. Close with Formula, but still the 38 is bigger and better.
