Fridge Issue

Need to pull the frig in my Prowler so let me get this straight. The frig power is 120 VAC. There is an inverter for converting 12 VDC to 120 VAC when off shore power. Is that right? If so, I too would like to know where the inverter is located.

yup, that was me. Both Erie Basin and Ray's boathouse. Battery power is not a problem (4 optimas under rear seat) my shore power is wired to 2000w inverter. This Sonic is a camper, 9 days in 1000 Islands. Problem might be loose wiring with all the pounding Lake Erie provides.
Hey Captain ~ Have you found any loose wires going to your fridge yet??? It's been a while since we've heard any updates from you... I hope you figure it out soon, because I don't want to go another summer on your boat with no cold beer!!!
I personally think that the whole issue started shortly after you wedged that oversize fridge in your cabin... You probably unintentionally crimped some wires together and caused a short when you shoved it in there last year... not to mention the extra weight of all that beer!
