You should go mid to upper 70's. I go 74 on gps with 496 ho's and my boat weighs more than the new ones.

Default 31 Sonic

I am very happy.... I really like going out on the weekend and spending time with my daughter, the big hang up with the Banana was that there was no bathroom... The Banana I have is a fantastic boat if anyone knows someone that might be interested. it is listed in the classified section here and I must say Charlie McCarthy could not have been a better person to deal with. As he has stated to me many times he over built that Banana... it is GREAT>>>> I did own a 1990 Banana and this blows it away.. by far..... I would not sell it if I did not have to..... The sonic is a bit bigger and will address my concerns or my daughters.. BATHROOM>>>>. it was nice to hear all the people here gave their opinions and i do appreciate them. Finally if any is interested in a Sonic: Tony is a great guy to work with no pressure and is only interested in making the customer happy. He made me feel comfortable. and as a working guy.. I do not have a lot of money, wish I had more, but Tony and Mike at sonic were great to work with. I cannot wait for April,, (I live in RI it is cold now) to get the boat and go to all the fun runs this summer in a Sonic.......
