Default Thinking of 31 Sonic

I am thinking of purchasing a brand new 31 sonic... Was wondering if anyone could give any feed back on their experiences with Sonic. Also what seems to run best engine options, etc. any info would be appreciated.

I had one with 500 HP's. It does handle rough water great. The cabins are very accomodating.

you do know RICHIE SR has a red 31or32 just like ernies down in fl set up for twins right now you could go twin sbs and go 85 do the new 502s go 85 to 90 I would think and you saw how well ernies boat goes in the rough. lots of room in the cabin too its extra long and the hull carries futher than anyother boat thats why even the flat decks have lots a room. sonic is a cool boat another one of my favs , but after meeting you ,you need a sutphen 31 or a 28 or 34 saber there building them to order now like the 41s which all came out nice. but sonic is a good choice too. later pm me if you need some phone numbers art ps I use to get my azz handed to me by a 35 sonic no wing here on the cape but when I got to 650hp and running mid 80s I could keep up with him until it was over 3s I would be getting tones of air and they were sippen drinks waving haha good boats oh he had twin 850s.

I have a good used one with 496HO's listed in the classifieds for sale right now. Awesome boat for the ride and especially the cuddy if you have a family.

Default Sonic 31

I have my Banana for sale... at 46... listed in the classified section here.. I do love the sonic for the room..full head for the family... and it will run well... I am trying to sell the Banana: Airtime you saw it in Fairhaven.. it is very nice... I am asking 46 or 39 w/o the motor..... custom trailer... if any of you guys know someone that might be interested.. let me know... I have also told Charlie McCarthy that I am looking at the sonic.. he can tell you how nice this Banana is... please help.. I have a deposit on it for the next 19 days... I do not want to loose it... as for engines.. 8.2 may be an option. but the 377 may be more realistic for my situation. thanks for the help I do appreciate you guys filling me in.

Steve - welcome to the Frisini Motorsports family and Sonic Powerboats! We look forward to getting you on the water. The 31SS is a great running boat.
