Default Salt-Away?

Looking for opinions on the product. Got some local positive opinions. Anyone use Salt-Away? If so, what do you think?

I use it regularly. It's definitely a good product.

I proved it to myself once, had a gunked up salt water engine thermostat and housing, I put it all back together after opening it up to change thermostat etc......left it the way it was to see what the product would do, ran Salt Away through and opened it again......didn't need a new thermostat....clean as a whistle......

Thanks for the info. I had not heard any negative comments about it. I just wanted to know before I ordered 2 gallons.

Do some digging on here. Many feel it has been detrimental to their headers. "BillR" is one of those folks.

I use Dawn.

How does dawn work? Do you just put it in the salt away container and use it the same way? Also I would assume that you are only using for an engine flush and not for a boat wash.
