[QUOTE=sp123;3501707]Bondo10 if you get to Newport send me an email... I can be on the water in ten mins.... I am very happy with it.

Newport is out for me saturday. I think I am going to try to make the Earl's Marina Fun Run instead. You should come down, probably only about a half hour ride from Newport. I don't know what we are in for,but Oak Bluffs is on the agenda, and that's always a good time. Regardless, enjoy the new boat.
Jeff
Also,sent you a P.M.

Plum,
I have to agree with you, it's possible the props are funny. The speeds and RPM don't seem correct. I have the 8.2's in our AT and they don't retrard the RPM's during break-in. You're probably confusing Mercury with Ski Doos advanced technology ( it's a Midwest thing )!

I was told that it was going to be called off because there were only two entries... however last night I got a call from Billy Freenz indicating it is still on.. my only problem is that I got another call from a friend stating if I go to LI...it is considered a "race" therefor I have "raced" the boat and it would void my engine warranties.... so the answer to that question is not this year... I will next year however. May bring the boat to Boston for the poker run they are planing instead.

Hopefully , the Sonic that won last year will
be running the race. I would like to see
more Sonics run the race. I would run the one
here in Florida, but I also have a problem with
insurance.

Joe is running this year again.. He was one of the first to enter. I just do not want to void my warranty on the new motors. I do not have enough hours on it just yet and I want to make sure all is running well.....
