31s pull out bed is a great feature not offered on the larger sonics. The engine compartment on the 31 is ridiculous though.

The 31 has a 36 feel in my opinion. Some of my friends with 36's love the cabin space in mine versus theirs. Agreed that the engine compartment is smaller than I'd like, especially if you have bigger mills.

the engine comp's are pretty similar between the 2. both are tight, and only give you room to stand in front of the motors. the drive/tab pumps are mounted on the sides of the motors, so there is no room to lay down next to the motors.

the cabin is a little bigger in the 35, but most of the room is noticable in the cockpit (space between back seat and bolsters).

The ride difference is noticeable (not that the 31 rides bad), but the 35 has a 25 degree deadrise.
