Default New Sonic Owner here

Hello, just getting back into the world of performance boats, unfortunatly I live inland so small boats are prefered for the small lakes. I recently bought a Sportster 220 that was previously owned by the owner of the Florida Powerboat Club that I was told used it for a pace boat on the intercostal. For a 22 footer, it is one bad boat!!!! Is there anyone here from the Powerboat club? Anyone know this boat?

My Sonic finally arrived today, the guy didn't tell me much over the phone about it but seeing it in person was most pleasing. There was even a booklet with all the receipts which made me more happy. The engine is a Cheifs engine, $9100 just in the engine and another $2000 in the out drive. Gonna prep it today and hopefully make a maiden voyage tonight.

Glad it turned out well for you. I can't imagine buying a boat without seeing it in person. Did the seller tell you its top speed?
