The only one I know of with that config is the owner of Full Tilt Marine in MD/VA. The 386 is now for sale with HP500EFIs and B1s. He ripped out the power and stuck it into a 40 Outlaw. From what I heard the 40 Outlaw is a pig. When Frank Marchone left Full Tilt and went to Offshore Perfrormance, I believe the politics took the Sonic franchise with him. Therefore, the owner made his showcase boat the Baja.

I just checked the website. It is not listed anymore.

Default 104mpg 41'

His name is Larry Hollenbeck out of
South Haven Michigan.
It is a true 41 footer, No swim platform.

Naturally aspirated big Cube engines.
He builds them himself. Haven't seen him
out in a few years, last I new he was getting
into car racing pretty good.

Jay Ross worked hand in hand with him quite
a bit on changes with the boat as he made
faster.

Had #6 drives and some large blades.
Last time I talked with Larry he said
he had more steam left beyond 104mph,
but it was starting to chine walk.

Hey, thanks for all the info. Thats DAMN fast for Big cube N/A engines ! I wonder what the reliability was ? I would like to do something like that to my 42, but dont want to sacrafice reliability. But I guess something has to be sacraficed to go that fast.....

Randy's ( Full Tilt ) Sonic was fast, but also heard a lot of trbl too ! If & when I run into you I will tell you the story as I was told Of the Full Tilt/Sonoc Saga.

Full Tilts show boat is now a Baja, with Blown engines & 6's. It sits on the end lift at red eyes close to Annies Restaurant. Pretty boat, but as most know, Baja's are not known for strength, or longevity. Pretty paint & Big Engines dont make it a good soild safe boat. Alot of flash & noise. I know she ran in the Poker Runs America/OP poker run, but dont know how she did. She just sits on lift all the time.....wonder why ?
