I am looking to update my 2000 260 prowler. First thing will be a new steering wheel and hub. Question, just to be sure. This is a standard tapered hub on this boat right? This is what most of the aftermarket wheels and hubs are. Thanks!

Thanks for the response. You just replaced the wheel on the stock hub. So, that is a Dino wheel. Thats what is on my boat now. I picked out a wheel that is the Momo bolt pattern. So I'm going to swap out the hub too. I just dont want to go through the trouble of pulling the old hub off to see if its a tapered shaft or screw on. When I pull it off I want to have the wheel and hub with me. I anticipate it to be on there pretty good, since its a 20 year old boat!

and you know the worst part about it? when i sit down in the drivers seat this is exactly what i see, i'm 5'8" and i can't see over the wind screen unless i'm either standing or sitting on pillow's.

i have done that. but my legs are hanging down, i'm going to ad a higher foot rest so at least i'll have something to rest my legs on and brace myself with. it's only taken me 22 years to this, since my boat is a 98 and i bought it new.
