if you call the factory they can tell you exactly or pm Dano. Can you get a 26 with the 525?

I beleive you can get the 26 with anything up to and including the 575 Merc. Steve

Yes you can get a 575. As far as 496HO vs 525 you will see anywhere from 8-10MPH in FW a couple more in SW. Put the ITS system and the K280's on the 525 package, runs well on that hull design.

Opps that was with a 575...take it down a couple with the 525. I'd have to say price to performance the 525 is the way to go if you never intend to increase stock power.
