Presently, I am still trying to prop the boat. Adding stereo, gas, water, and passengers have given me a sure reality check on my top end speed. With perfect (fantasy) conditions the boat ran 76, but now I’m just hoping to see a solid 72.
Two Thumbs up for Sonic…no complaints on the boat or service. Fred has been great on taking care of me with any issues.

I am in the market for a 1999 26' sonic. It has a 502/415hp in it. I am wondering what type of performance I could expect from this boat. I currently own a 24' baja that will run in the the high 70s to low 80s. I know this sonic will not perform like this on top end especially with a stock engine. But, I can't find any performance specs anywhere for this boat. I don't want to pay 45,000.00 for a 55mph boat. Any info would be an awesome help. Thanks........

do you have a 24 p 4 blade on the boat. The 500 ITS boat we sold up here likes a little tab. Keep playing with it. Once you find the sweet spots the boat is probably one of the most fun single engine boats I have ever driven. We took it to the keys in 3-4 footers and had a blast. Also we recently labbed the prop and it made a huge difference. It rode better in flat and rough water, the turning speeds were a lot faster with less bounce and came out of the hole and accelerated alot harder. Made a huge difference. The boat has AC, power inverter ,3 batterys refrigerator, and flush head and ran 70.8 on Gps. After we labbed it it went 72.9.
