The cape hatteras fenders are the ones I bought. Very nice fenders.

Yes there are some stress cracks, there is a good one on the port side of the cabin doorway at the the bottom as you are exiting the cabin; fixed it once and it came back. There are some very small ones in the deck, nothing towards the bow, and nothing in the hull.

That thing is MAD CLEAN for 1989..

I bought a pair of 500 hps and up dated everything so its done right. I had alot of problems with junk 330s and wanted to go faster.

We will have to hang out, it might be a busy winter but plan on boating next year. Business was slow so not much money to finish but getting very busy now so should be able to finish this project. I can't wait to hear them fire!!!

Mowmoney very nice boat, how many hp you going to have? Kyboy how fast is your boat with those 454's in it? Also what is involved in taking the arch off a 30SS?

Is a 30SS the exact same boat as a 31?

Last question for now, would a late 80's 30SS weigh the same as a latter 90's or were they heavier?

Boat looks great. Sorry to hear the wife is injured. I understand what that does to boating. I have been boating alone all summer, while the wife took care on the new born (almost 6 months old now).
