Thanks, I have a friend that hangs at the lake alot with a 42 Fountain, and I overheard him say he was told the Sonic ran upper 90's so I was just curious if that was correct.

From what the article in Hot Boat-Jan 2004 said it ran 97mph@5700rpm. It was the cover boat.

Yea I rode in a 31 with 575's at the Cumberland Poker Run 2 years ago. I did sound sweet, very nice ride. Is your boat the one that was repoed? I tried to buy one that was exactly like yours, tried to get the owner to trade me on a Formula 31PC, worked on that for a year.

Yep.. we bought it from harrison. Tried dealing with the previous owner prior but they wouldn't budge...nice people though.

it's the channel into Sandy Pond I launched in Henderson and drove down to see how shallow it is, I plan on lakeview next weekend

So...How shallow was it???Is it as bad as some people are saying?? ..We are headed up to the bay for the holiday:drink:

coming into the channel it from the lake there was one spot that was 2-3 feet but then got deeper but you can't get all the way into the pond with a big boat to the right . Steve talked to someone that got a 26 cruiser through but had to go to the left and around the island. There was a party barge when we pulled in and he said there was no way that my boat was getting through either way. I looked and didn't want to even try it's pretty bad
