Default Need to Know

Have a 2001 358 with 500EFI's this winter I'm tweaking the motors to about 550 to 575 HP. Hull has the notch and I believe the "X" Dimension is fairly high. Would the addition of NOSE CONES help or would they hurt the performance. Or do nothing at all. I know that a lot of opinions say they are not needed until the boat is going above 85-90 MPH, but every hull and boat a different. Even with the small updrades that I'm doing to the 500EFI's I do not expect the speed to be over 85MPH more like 81-83 MPH.

I don't think cones would hurt performance. I have seen them make a squirrelly boat more stable, might improve your handling, but I really wouldn't expect more speed.
