Ken,
Charlie and I were taking the Honda, 2 seater. If there are others we can reconsider taking a bigger vehicle to car pool.
As of now I do not know of anyone else going for sure. Maybe by the weekend there will be others to chime in and want to go.

ok. Thanks Steve/Rob. I think I'll come down Sat. AM. Engine is a little on the rich side but, hey, gotta do what you gotta do. I'll have to get in touch with Chris to se if he wants some company on the way down.

I just got a voice mail from Chris saying he couldn't make it this weekend due to other obligations (that happens when you get married Chris
).We are still going tomorrow afternoon if anybody wants to convoy down. We're trying to leave by 4. If we don't see you till Saturday, we'll probably be out on the lake watching the speed trials. Look us up.

Guys,
This thing started off pretty SLOOOW on Saturday, with some sort of closed course single boat time/speed trials. Today (Sunday) was actually much better with some pretty good deck to deck racing.
This SBI/APBA event, compared to the Pickwick OSS race we went to in May, was pretty tame. No party on Saturday night, very light race boat turnout, and they held the spectator fleet way to far away from the race course
. These guys really need to work on their format.
As far as the competeting SBI/APBA and OSS Sanctioning bodies go, my vote goes to OSS hands down for a better show. I guess it's still good to have have big time offshore racing nearby, regardless of who's putting on the race.

Sorry, mine look to crappy to bother with. The focus (thought I had autofocus?) is crappy. The video, did turn out pretty well considering how windy (boat was rocking) and far away we were from the race course (zooming in rough water will make you sea sick watching the video
).
If we have some sort of Fall social event (hint
), I'll bring video from the OSS/Pickwick Race, Lake Cumberland Poker Run, SBI Chattanooga, and possibly more.
