OK guys and gals,
The last big area event is upon us. The SBI/Apba Race and UIM speed trials are October 14-16 in Chattanooga. I'm going. Anyone else?
Regards,
Steve

Are you hauling your boat or just driving down? Staying overnight or just a one day trip?
I've been thinking about it but just driving down for one day.

A guy that I met recently from Chattanooga said we would be able to see better from the water, so I'm taking the boat if I can get a mechanical glitch squared away. If not, we'll just have to watch from the bank.
If we can get a hotel room both nights, we're going Friday afternoon. Speed trials are Saturday, races are Sunday.
Regards,
Steve

Rob,
If you want/need some more company i'd like to go, but don't want to go by myself. I can take two or three in my truck if that works.
I called Jim Popal, the organizer, to see if he needed any "volunteers", but no reply as yet.
You can reach me here at work(231-4948) or home @ 822-1025.

Guys,
With the help of the best boat mechanic in Nashville (EB), looks like we're back in business........so we are leaving Friday afternoon to get the party started
.
We will be staying at the Days Inn on Shallowford Road.
I think we may have some company at the hotel and on the water. Weather forecast looks great. Hope to see you there!
Oh yeah, if anybody wants to convoy down Friday afternoon, just let me know (here or 330-8937/cell), and we'll hook up. I would like to try and get out of town around 4:00 to keep from towing the boat in rush hour traffic
, and we should be able to make the tow to Chattanooga mostly during daylight hours.
Regards,
Steve

Steve, I called the Days Inn and asked about parking and Tamara said it was somewhat limited, which may have a bearing on my bringing my boat on Sat. Is the ramp close by? Have not been to Chattanooga yet so........Ken

Maybe Tamara should go into politics
.......I called a couple of days ago and they said they were fine on boat parking?? Chris Flenner told me that he and several other guys from here stayed there for Erwin's Fall (Poker?) Run and there was plenty of parking, so that's why I elected to stay there. I'm sure we will figure something out?Chris says he's coming in Saturday AM.
I hope to see you there too.
The ramp is (my guess) about 5ish miles, all good road from there.
Regards,
Steve
