I know this is way off in left field, but he has a 2003 28' heat for sale that I'm interested in. It's on the Nordic website. It's the yellow boat on the left side of owner's pics. Just like your opinion on the 28. Thanks

Is that the yellow boat?? I like Nordics, yellow, big motors, small bikinis.......woops, wrong subject
.....so if it is, it's a great looking ride. Don't know Tom or the boat. As for the 28' Heat in general, I think it's possibly the best bang for the buck in this size range (27/28/29). Looks great, good performance, nice cabin.
FYI, there is another one (local) that may be for sale that is very sharp, and a good runner. There are several on the boats for sale forum here too.
Regards,
Steve

Steve,
Thanks for the info. Yep it's the yellow one on the Nordic site. Not sure about buying on Ebay though. I have emailed Tom a couple of times with questions. I really like that it's yellow and not white. Anyway, newer ride is not too far off. If you know of another please let me know. Would rather buy locally and from someone MCPA folks knows. Thanks again.

Ken,
Don Crafton (Crafton Sign Co.) has talked about selling his. It is (I think) a '96 or '97 with a 525SC. He just added an intercooler last year. Runs strong. Sharp boat.
I don's have Don's #, but I'm sure you can reach him at work tomorrow.
Regards,
Steve

Sweet. My only concern is how much maint. is there with a SC motor. I'll call him this morning and tell you what I find out.

Steve,
Talked to Don yesterday. He said he was not selling his boat just yet as he hasn't found the twin engine Fountain he wants.

Steve,
Are you familiar with any of the Nordics for sale in the classifieds? I'm extremely intereste in 1, 6, and 9(Tri0State Marine). Really like #1 and 6. Think 9 may be a little too much right now.
Appreciate your thoughts and hope you don't mind me bugging too much. Thanks. I think I'm getting "Nordic fever"

Ken,
For graphics, #1 is very cool. For performance and graphics #4 (gotta like the 500EFI and hydraulic steering).
No doubt the Rage #6 with the 496/Whipple is a baddazz boat too. Should be a much better rough water ride than your current boat, but not as good as the Heat. If you are just cruising on the local lakes it should be fine. If you are going to get into big lake Poker Runs, you will like the bigger boat.
I think we should start a new thread on the Nordic forum.
