Joe pools parking lot could be underwater soon with anymore rain. Now they are talking about snakes in the water. How about all the damn Mosquitoes and flies all over the place.

Hook'em 05-16-2015 09:41 AM

15.33 over pool this morning, still coming up around 1.5' a day like it has for two weeks nearly. Bad news is it's fixin to start pouring all over the water shed area. Calling for at least two inches new rain today. It's going over the spillway. Shreveport Louisiana better start stacking sand bags now.

You're a braver man than I. Took the dogs for a swim up there today. I miss water that was blue/greenish.....

Great looking set up with the rig/boat.

BUP 05-18-2015 08:30 PM

^^^^^ did you figure out your leak. I did email you back sometime ago. Just asking

Are there any ramps still open? Buncomombe creek marina just closed today.

Hook'em 05-20-2015 08:52 PM

The gates were opened Monday and the lake still came up over a foot. It's +18 today. 7inches of rain fell in the water shed yesterday I bet it goes over the spillway even with the gates open. Rain in the forecast everyday.

Highport parking lot/ramp:drink:

shark42 05-21-2015 08:04 AM

I just need to launch so I can get boat on my floater, I hope they stay open!

Hook'em 05-21-2015 08:56 AM

Where's the floater? I think all the marinas have the power shutoff to the boathouses.

shark42 05-21-2015 09:14 AM

I have my own dock with a generator, so I'm good on electricity.

Beer intake is way up. Lol

RickyDanner 05-24-2015 06:31 AM

Flood pool is full as of today. Has anyone seen if it is going over the spillway?

Hook'em 05-24-2015 08:45 AM

10-4 it's over the spillway this morning. All gate are wide open and the lake inflow is double the release rate. This might be the 100 year event. All time high was 644. It's just over 640 now.

endeavor1 05-24-2015 10:09 AM

No going back now. Hope down stream has prepared. Ample warning had been given

BUP 05-24-2015 02:04 PM

This has been the highest rain fall recorded ever. Unreal go from one extreme to the other. Joe pool parking lot is under water. Not that I boat there but it is close to me. If you ever want to receive a comic view point show up at Joe Pool on a busy Saturday afternoon and watch the fun along with I can't believe they did that.

Hook'em 05-24-2015 08:10 PM

Inflow at 10 am today was 257,839 CFS. Out flow with six gates wide open, both generators at full bore and current level 1.83' over the spillway is 45,000 CFS. Man it's going WAY OVER in the next few days. It's come up over a foot and a half since it went over. Pulling a pretty good current over the top now. Another multi inch round of rain in forecast for tomorrow.

That's just wild. Thank you for sharing those pix

RickyDanner 05-25-2015 06:18 PM

Worse than 07'. I heard there was a dock that broke loose and was headed for the 377 bridge.

BUP 05-25-2015 06:25 PM

The water looks inviting for a swim, I think the sewer water is not even that brown. Just messin

this weekend what a wash out for many in the DFW area. The rain is a real pain currently. Way to much and not even good areas around the house stuff is wet all the time.

chris302 05-25-2015 06:55 PM

just got a call from a dock mate our dock broke loose and is against zh dock big money there, a 2.5 mil Prestige they are not going to be happy. I doubt the marina will bother calling us.

endeavor1 05-28-2015 11:40 AM

Hwy 70 bridge closed due to flooding. That's some high water

RickyDanner 05-28-2015 09:58 PM

How much is flowing in now? Release is 101,000 CDs. How is it still rising? Mind boggling.

Hook'em 05-29-2015 10:31 AM

645.06' 0900 5/27/15. All time record high for Lake Texoma.

That's crazy

endeavor1 05-31-2015 04:26 PM

Drug the boat down to Ray Hubbard. Trash in that lake but not terrible. Texoma was a mess from what we saw. All ramps closed.

The first floor of the office is completely underwater. Texoma is a good foot over the 1990 all time record. A bridge or two in Oklahoma are closed/under water. 91, the road to the dam from Texas is closed. As in washed out and gone. The spillway flow took it out. Water is going over the spillway more than 5 feet deep. It's a helluva flood back there.

Looks like we are about to go through it all again!

Rwbrew3 04-30-2016 10:18 AM

Yup- sucks !!

Hook'em 04-30-2016 12:50 PM

I was up there a couple of weeks ago and the water still was way off color. The area has been pounded with heavy rain since then. May be another chitty summer coming up. I don't do orange water.

endeavor1 04-30-2016 06:25 PM

Jeeze guys... That sux
