Most people arent as smart as you, they learn the hard way.
I bought the Lake Travis nav charts for my GPS before I even moved here, and I come from an ocean backgroud and you dont go anywhere offshore without having the right nav charts.

I think the rest of this month is pretty much booked but maybe we can do something in March. I guess you have a whole lot less stairs to walk down now to get to your boat. Did you get your outdrive all fixed up?

Much easier to get to the dock! It makes me sick thinking about how much I spent on stairs last year. Oh well, I guess that's what it took to get the lake up.

The drive is back on. And the boat ramp right down the road is open! We planned on taking it for a short ride on Saturday, but I got the boat and truck stuck in the yard. I got some funny pics! Finally got them unstuck late saturday, so I ran the motors on the hose to make sure all was good before dropping it in. Had a leaking water pump. The piston that moves up and down when you air it up and release the air to open and close the drain plug had a busted o-ring. I took the pump down to Ski Dock to see if they could give me the correct o-ring. Nope. But, they did have a brand new pump for $600 that they wanted to sell me. Found the correct o-ring at Ace for $0.59. All is good now. Ready to go!

I bet that was fun getting the F-450 unstuck! Time for some concrete? That's awesome that the ramp close to the house is open now!!! We fought a similar issue with the pump out system on the water pump of K-Dog's boat. The orange press fitting wouldn't hold the little white air line in place.

670.72, you Travis guys will have a full lake in no time. Any word on Johnny Finns? Will they really reopen again or do think they're gone forever?
