we'll be running the new boat this weekend.(3/20/10):evilb::coolcowboy::evilb: anyone else gonna be out and about???

We have been running just about every weekend but unfortunately I blew a drive and it won't be finished until next week. As soon as I get it back together I'll be back out for sure.....

is blind river bar open? we plan on going out saturday .

Yes, Blind River Bar is open. They arent serving food yet but they are open Thursday through Sunday.....

weather sucked...especially on Sunday!!! we ran some but not near as much as I wanted...stayed on the Tickfaw River.

any of you guys have any suggestions on who to use for stereo upgrading??? I need one... and soon

Can't remember the shops name but the car stereo shop on Airline in Gonzales has done some pretty nice systems in boats.

if you remember their name let me know..I'm shopping, not on price but quality, and I want someone who is a professional with some boat installation experience and not afraid to give me references and pics of their work. The guy who owns the Cig Sound Check...did he do his stereo upgrade himself???

I've got to reseal both intake manifolds this weekend. If I get it done early enough we may make a run. Hoping too, anyway! Everybody be safe!

Thinking about Saturday leaving the Diversion headed over to Madisonville for a bite of lunch. Shop says I'll have my drive back Friday. I'm ready to run. Should be three of us....

Forecast says the winds will be low. Crossing my fingers. Not sure about Sun Bun's but I'll definitely stop by there this weekend and check.

Plan right now is Bobby, Reuben, and myself will all be running. You guys meeting at BRB? What time? Might stop in to say hello..... :)

Meeting at The Dock for this run. If Sun Buns isn't open we may come back to Tiki Hut.

Hey John, talked to Lea this morning. She said they are hoping to be open this weekend at Sun Buns. Did a lot of remodeling over the winter and still finishing some of it up. Said she would let me know later in the week.

Thanks Don. Let me know if you hear anything else. I'd like to get over there and drop off some fliers for our poker run.

Great if they do, no word yet on this end...keep us posted and I'll do the same. the inside A/C upgrade last year was a nice addition and it kept me in there taken up space and spending money longer:lolhit:

well lost the out drive today!!!! top seal went out and some chunks in the gear oil also. hope its not to bad ....:eek:

Well, got a message from Lea this morning - Sun Buns will not be open this weekend. Damon apparently took on a pretty good bit of remodeling. Should be very nice when done but it just won't be this weekend.

Hope to get my work done on the boat and get on the water this weekend. Everybody have good time and be safe!!

Oh well, so much for that plan. Guess we'll be headed back to Blind River Bar or the Tiki Hut after Tin Lizzies.

The old Pier 13. They decked over the pool and closed in most of the decked area. Seems pretty nice so far, lot more laid back than Pier 13 was. Daquiri machines and a barbque. The resteraunt serves Mexican food now, called Saritas or something like that.

No at least a week out! Going to pick up the drive today in Hammond. Every were Called is a week or more out on getting one fixed. :eekdrop:

Bad news the motor is being move to to the the transom asmbly..... The stearing u joint is wore out...

As of now we are at new uper seal, trim senders, u joint and maby gears as of now

I was thinking about Madisonville. Rain chances are down but looks like the wind will be up again. Hopefully we'll start having calmer winds soon.

Ran new trim indicator cables last night. Still have to put it all back together. Everything hinges on my drive being ready tomorrow....
