Went to Bridgeport Lake on Memorial Weekend. I gotta say it was a great surprise. Much bigger in size than I expected, two rivers leading in and they are both with a minimum of 20-30' deep! I finally got a nice decent ride up river without sweating hitting a shallow patch.
If ya get the chance I'd take a day try it, additionally I counted about 50 boats out on the entire lake total, the whole day, hell, just on the West side finger of the I-35 bridge on Lake Lewisville there were over 200.
Maybe Murray or Ray Roberts this weekend, gonna be H-0-T!

I agree a very nice lake and you can hide away if you want to. Just watch for the sand bar on the south side of the broadway when the lake is low
Back in the 90's I found a 1979 Chevy Blazer in about 30 foot of water close to the bridge. That must have been one hell of a ride!
