Thumbs up - Full Throttle Marine
I recently got my boat back from Bob's Shop, Full Throttle Marine, in Spicewood, TX. We really don't know why but the gimbal plate transom seal had to be replaced. That's wasn't a fun thing to find out because it's basically pulling the motor, the drive, cleaning everything and installing the $30 gasket! Never something anyone wants to find out. I took it to Bob because he knows Nordics and High Performance boats.
I decided to take the boat out on Sunday to check things out as I have a weekend trip planned in a couple of weeks and I didn't want any surprises. I couldn't imagine after all that work that everything would just work. I was also a bit concerned because Bob was a bit under the weather and I knew he wouldn't be around for the majority of the work.
Call me jaded but I've gotten used to paying for something and it not be exactly what I paid for. NOT THIS TIME! Bob's guys performed admirably and went above and beyond to make everything just right. The boat ran perfect, everything's bone dry, and I feel great about supporting the local guy.
Thanks to Bob and your guys! A job well done. Hope you're feeling better!
