Well not having a boat this year suxs, but if there is any time NOT to have one, it's this year. Lewisville, one maybe two boat ramps open, down 8 FT going to 11ft, Ray Roberts down 8ft. Ray Hubbard, down 7.5ft I live 500yrds from the lake for a reason, to use it! Not so much this year, tripping up to Texoma is a PIA unless spending the night.

It would probably be cheaper to rent 3-4 consecutive bays at Kings (if available) and just pay him to put in interior doors that would connect them all together, my neighbor has his 43 Scarab in one and he has plenty of room to operate, tools, compressor and even a winch. There are a few classic car restorers renting from there. The advantage is Westlake boat ramp is 1/4 mile down the road, but the lake is so low, the ramp is closed, so you would have to drive over to my neighborhood and TRY to put in.

John (BUP) knows his stuff, he's helped me numerous times over the phone whenever I got stuck on an engine/drive issue. Additionally I've sent a few people to him to have engine surveys and they've always returned more than satisfied. Maybe next year I can into another boat, we'll see.

RwBrew3 love that SCI !!!

Nice pic and someone has done a nice install in your boat.

Bert thanks for the good words. I always try to do my best and always keep up with my marine training.

This year, I will be lucky to even see 225 boats for the whole year, We will see how long it lasts because of the current water levels..

Lots of nice buildings going up by kings brothers , lots of steep pricing on the new stuff too . Had to winch a 26' onto trailer last weekend at hidden cove ,about 10' into the water at the ramp ,it drops off big time .New ramp at little elm is easy for any size boat ,pulled big cruiser out of there next day no problem . Getting out to open water from little elm ,real white knuckle buzzkill.need a bunch of people to get out the and map out the exposeded stumps , print out arreal

Print out a real laminated map for the big boat speed runs ,because the lake will come up ,and the big guns will be back ..

How is it in the bigger water, over by the dam? Or out front of of sneaky Pete's ? I'm a bit worried to take the boat out... The ramp at pilot knoll is still ok- suppose to have 10ft of water - its getting from there to the bigger body !

I am hearing and seeing more impact damage from the start of boating season than ever, usually its Aug or Sept that the impact really starts. Anyone hear about the 50 Hustler w trips running aground on Texoma ?
