It's the same in Houston, pay out the ass to store any large sport boats...if anyone on the north side wants to get in on the same action I'm totally game!! Being as I'll be picking up a new 38 Scarab in the next month or so...she will not be stored outside!

It would have to be boaters in the area so I would think they check in here as well just like the Houston crowd. Anyways I remember when our area had a few Poker Runs especially on Texoma - about 20 to 35 performance boaters would come up from the Houston area to run the course.

I do not think you could rent a big enclosed building in Dallas for under 5 k a month. That's a big cost just to store a few boats.

Who in the world works on your motor being a SCI - the only place would have to be Legend and one possible other guy up there. No one in Ft Worth would touch it and No one on I-35 by you would touch it either. I can not believe Arlington does not have a boat dealership as big as it is and is much traffic that passes thru here. Joe not so cool Pool Lake is the only lake with highest lake levels by far in the area. It only down 2 feet..

Luckily I haven't had any problems, I do all the basic maintenance myself and have only had to change impeller once, chage a few pulleys but nothing other than that ! Another reason this would be great to get together with others !

There are some big building spaces being rented out for next to nothing in Justin- have two buddy's leasing there for about 500-600 per month - not sure the exact size but said They are pretty big, I'll have to check on size !

What year is your 25, a 2002, is it a 575 SCI stock Merc Racing or really a 575 SCI worked over making it 675. You should change the impeller & housing every year at the beginning of every season. The plastic impeller housing do not last that long especially in our low lake levels, its a hoover for sucking up the lake bottoms especially if you have low water pickups. In return it will groove the housing internally causing impeller cavitation - the cavitation causes reduce water volume / flow along with air in which is reduced cooling to the engine.

I can see if the space is still for rent in deep SW Ft Worth - it has a huge paved parking lot and enough land to store other things. I know you could store at least 40 boats just outside (18 to 26 footers ). Like I said it is 2800 per month but a real long ways to Lewisville but not that far to Eagle MTN lake. If PK every gets water levels up it would be a good place to store boats but still a 65 mile drive. Also we allowed to put things up for sale. The building is nice and has very nice rest rooms. Anyways just some thoughts. If I knew about 6 other boaters that would store there for long term I would go ahead and rent it. What do you think is fair rent - something priced by the foot per boat. Again storage totally inside huge 7000 sq ft building / a total of 10K sq ft and huge outside to do whatever all fenced.

It's a 2000 built up to 675- yeah the impeller was chaged 10hrs ago - its just a nightmare to ge to ! Eagle mountain is not to awfully far and that space sounds awesome, need more boaters to jump on board. As far as coast go I'm not sure on that - if subleasing is ok we could always see about offering cheap boat storage to minimize the rent...just a thought.
