There were some guys from Miami there on SeaDoos the end of June......they were drinking at the bar complaining of the anticipation of a rough ride home!

Winter and spring are "bad" up till about May. Then it is hit or miss according to the weatherman/storms. You might get lucky in winter but its not likely, especially if you are trailering here from a significant distance. For me personally, I wouldnt do it in winter or spring, there is just too much chance of wasting a drive (for me, I break stuff)
And for what its worth, Palm Beach, Boynton and Boca are all pretty far north if you are doing Bimini - LOL. However, they are almost a straight shot east to Freeport. Actually, in a decently fast boat its almost a non-trip. If you go out Boynton Inlet and run hard for a little bit, stop and enjoy a beverage, get back on plane, you are already looking for land. In a normal CC its still around an hour... Thats fast with a normal stereo and a cooler! If you leave at daybreak you are bored by noon.
