Thanks Bernie! The boat I am asking about has 850 hp BBC with xr drives, runs in the low to mid 120's with 34's with tons of whack. He is looking for more top end without sacrificing acceleration.

Where is this measured from? I was looking at mine yesterday and was trying to figure out which step is used to measure this distance. Picture attached to show steps.

Thanks
Don

Get all of the current specs off the boat...gear ratios, X dim etc...then call Jay at Spectre and may also want to call Brett at B-Blades or MAtt and Julie at Throttle up for prop slip calcs.

Thanks

Measure from the center of your nosecone to the lowest portion of the boat, bottom of the sponson. I level my prop shafts with a level, take a longer level and run it to the bottom of my boat, mark with a pencil and go from there. There are other ways to do it, but I have found this way to be pretty accurate.
