I had a lot of fun playing with it this weekend. It runs good, I'm new to Cats but I did get some pointers today from a friend. We ran 95 and I think it needs different props. I'm running 14.5" 30P 4 blade cleavers. I emailed BBlades and he recommended Blasters or OB/Fs.

I am running 15X30 Merc 3 blade cleavers that were labbed by BBlades.......When my Opti's were stock the boat would run right at 100MPH at 6100RPM. I did the DBR stage 1 tunes, Mike Nass cowls and it made a big difference. Light on fuel with 1 person the boat has run 107.5MPH at 6700RPM. These Optimax motors are great on fuel. I never put more than 40 gallons in the boat. You may want to measure your X dimension and check your motor height. I was running 1 5/8'' above the pad but was loosing water pressure at speed. I ended up lowering them down to 1 1/2'' and seems to be the sweet spot. Sounds like you might have a little speed left in your boat with just set up. I think a good number for these boats is right at 100MPH with stock Opti's.

Let's get this thread moving again. I finally got out today after waiting weeks for the water levels to drop and the no-wake restriction to be removed. If it's not snowing in MN, it's raining!
