Well the answer to the very first question was Howard Davis when he had the boat "Top Cat"... he has flashed 172 and at one of the T.O.P.P.S. speed runs 168 was recorded(I was not there to see this myself, but several other people did) he is a member on here...he sold the boat almost 2 years ago and now has a 44 MTI that has the name "Top Cat" on it.

Howards is definitely the fastest I've heard of but I thought he told me 162 was his best. I've never seen him post here but his son used to.

Oh and the new boat is a 40' Motion. Very bad machine...

Shawn Davis still posts on here. He's a good guy, send him a PM if you want details on his old Spectre. They had a big power 35 Motion as well, and as mentioned above, the current cat is a 40 Motion (which is a Skater splash).

I'm not completely positive, but if I recall correctly, wasn't there a 36 w/ 6s with Bandit 1550s on Long Island. I only saw the boat once, and this was a few years ago...

Just a worthy mention..
