Default Fastest single 32

Just wondering what is the fastest single engine 32. We helped a guy build one with an 1100 and a Konrad that runs well over 100.

Please tell us more!
I believe you are talking about Dave who had the Arneson drive on previously. How did it do with the Konrad? So what was the top end? I think Konrad may be the answer to making a drive live with that kind of power behing a big single engine boat.
Dave F from Maryland has a 598 M-5 procharged single 32 who is just getting in the water now. He should be a little more HP than 1100. I don't think a bravo style drive is going to like it though.
I have a friend here in Virginia who has a 500efi with a 3.3 whipple.
I am rigging my 32 single with a 540 and a M-4 Procharger. Imco extension box and Imco SC 2" shortened drive. I hope to be in the low 90s.

It looks like the fastest single 32 with be between the Daves. Where are you guys going to meet up and run 'em ?

Oh, by the way there is a 30 Checkmate that has a 6 drive with this steve morris racing engine. I read a thread on OSO about it running the LOTO shoot out. Well past the century mark.

I just purchased a 1997 32 with a 502. She has a Vortech and an intercooler. Boat ran 81gps on 10-11lbs. with a 26p bravo prop. at 5100. We just upped the boost to 14lbs. Should be making 800-830hp. Looking for help with X-dim. and what wheel to run with a 1.5 XR. bravo 30p maybe? Tryin to keep the 502 around 5k.

You must have a 1.36 drive. ??

I would think you have a 1.36 because if youre prop is stock then your your theretical speed would be 80......so 81 would be impossible. If its a 1.36 drive theretical speed is 89 which would be 9% slip which is still really good. Id check it before you go any farther with prop guessing. My 288 ran about 82 with a 30" bravo and 1.5 ratio at 5200.

If your drive is a 1.5:1 there is no possible way your running 81 @ 5,100.. That puts your prop slip at 3.24%.. A 1.36 puts your slip at 12.27 which makes more sense..
