Notice Sandy is doing all the work while Jeff is staring at the shoreline.

I am bringing my non skid snow boots when we go down so I feel safe when I walk out on the waxed deck.

After seeing this boat at the Miami boat show for the first time, it may be what we end up trading our Formula in for. Originally we were torn between the 3900 Nortech and 39 Cigarette both with 700s. After seeing this all I can say is WOW. Going to be a tough decision. What a boat, and the cabin is unbelievable!! Anyone have any isssues with the rough water causing problems with that touch screen controler? So why Should we go with this over a Cigarette or Nor-Tech. Minus the fact that Cigarettes are very pricey, as are the Nor-Techs as well though

Customer service is unbelievable. You can call the factory about a 5 year old Sunsation and they will pull the file on the boat and discuss how it left the factory. The F4 should have no touch screen issues since it is the same unit they put in the Outerlimits and they ride harder. The F4 is faster than a NT 43V by about 6-8 MPH and runs neck and neck with a Cig 42X with 700's but that has a stripper interior/ no enclosed head.
I got a 40 mile ride in the F4 in the open ocean at WOT running from St Augustine to Jacksonville last summer and it was a blast. Boat was running upper 90's with 1/2 fuel and 5 people aboard. I think the biggest things you will be impressed with is that you can call the factory at 6 am and one of the owners will pick up the phone and they are hands on owners actually working on every F4 that runs through the doors. Wayne is a very detail oriented person and will tell you how he built your boat. He will hold up production if he sees something he doesn't like or something he can do better.
They have 9 F4's finished in the last 18 months and have even had one owner re-order a new boat with 1075's. All boats so far except the first (600's) have been 700/ NXT boats.

Good luck with your choices.

Disregard my last PM, I hadnt read this yet so was confused. Im hearing good things about the F-4. I think we are leaning towards it the most. The engine cabinet and engine hatch underside is probably the most exotic I have ever seen. We love the stringer setup, how it isnt wood. We have had a lot of stringer rotting issues with our Donzi so no wood in the stringers is a plus for us. I also like the fact that it has the 1100 check off thing where the employee signs for each thing they do on every boat. If they are signing their name, chances are they are going to do a better job to make sure its right. This spring I think we will be making a trip to detroit for the factory tour and hopefully a sea trial if it is possible. Has anyone actually weighed there boat on a the scales and subtracted the trailer weight? I have seen several different numbers for weight. What trucks are people using to pull these?

I looked at a lot of boats at the miami show and I must say that the F-4 was one of the coolest boats I have ever seen. Dave let me climb all over the boat and encourged me to look for flaws in it. The details they put into that boat are amazing. The F-4 is one trick rig.
