I'll check and see if I still have a spare clip. I'll send it to you and you can see if it will fit your fairing. then you can just take it to a local machine shop and have them made up.

Wow, talk about good support, no wonder everyone wants to be in the Sunsation group! If you have an extra clip that would be much appreciated. Send to: Doug Overvold, 4020 Spruce Road, Minnetrista, MN 55375.

Found it Doug. Shipped it out this morning. When you get it see if it will work out, and even if it doesn't you can most likely modify it to work. Also use 1/4" lexan not plexy. it cost a little more but it doesn't break or crack. Oh and by the way, you didn't say which city you were in and the pc at the UPS store listed 3 cities with that area code. so I picked the first one which was St B????? hope that was it.

Claude, your the best. Looking at the new style dash they came out with in 2005, it is completely different that the 2004 and prior. I will make something work, and let you, as there are a lot of people looking for wind screen protection.

not a problem.

Questions

Dovervold,
Congrats on your new boat! Looks Great.
I currently own a 28 Nordic Heat MCOB. Love it, but am being prompted to look at something with a Head/Porta Pot. Still want the MCOB.
Is the head useful in this boat? 32ft?
In pictures I have looked at seems cabin may be cramped? At least the seat next to head.
Also somewhere I read that Sunnys are narrower beam?
Build quality?
Seems Sunsation is the only "Eastern" (East of Mississippi)company building a MCOB?
Love the looks. Am considering a 5 hour drive to check one out.
Thanks for any input!! I am on the fence.

Hey JNS,

~In a 32' Sunsation MCOB, you have an "enclosed" head with pumpout.
~The seat in the MCOB next to the head will actually seat 2 people comfortably. I will post some pictures for you tomorrow when I am back at the Marina.
~The beam on the 32' is 8'1" MCOB or Closed bow.
I can send you a bunch of pictures of the interior on a 32 to give you an idea of how much room is in the cabin of a MCOB.

Hope this helps,
Tom

Tom,
Yes this helps!! Thank you!
I am concerned about moving to a narrower beam than what I have now.
What speed to expect from twin 496's?
In the Heat we are still able to tube and ski (sort of). Am also considering if a twin 496 SS is up for this challenge too?
Look forward to photos if not too much problem.
Jeff
