Default Sunsations new to me!

Just wanted to introduce myself, have been Baja owner most of my boating years. Currently own 2005 25' Outlaw with 496HO with no issues and love the boat, but like to go faster. Really have been looking at the Sunsation's, did look at some 32's, but now thinking about going with the 288 MCOB. Wondering what year did Sunsation make there latest hull changes on both of these boats?

05 on the 288, unsure bout the 32 but I think either 06, 07.

From what I've read I don't think the new hull is any faster than the old hull. I'll prolly get jumped for that statement...

Wise choice comin to Sunsation from Baja... LOL

Another former 25 Outlaw owner here. Picked up my 32 SS in April of this year. I don't think you will see much increase in speed moving to a 288 with the same power as your Outlaw. Might as well keep shopping for 32's!

288s are almost 300 lbs. Lighter, much more aerodynamic and have a faster hull. Id say there's room for a decent speed increase.....

Half the time I can't tell the difference between a 25 outlaw or a 288, or their owners for that matter

Depends on what bsboss is looking for in terms of speed increase. Big difference between a 2-3mph increase versus 12-15

Red face 28 Sunsation

I can't comment on whether you will get increased speed or not since this is not really an issue with me. I bought my 04 Sunsation new and it runs about 67 MPH. I have a 496 HO Mag. w/no upgrades. What I can comment on is it reliability, stable ride and customer services. I am a female owner w/some mechanical skill. The boat is easy to service w/one motor and I never had any major issues. The guys at Sunsation are awesome. If I have a question they always answer my calls and offer any assistance. They even call back a few days later to ensure I don't need anything further. I have though about going to a 32 but I boat in the Potomac and really don't need the increased size. If I went to a 32 I would have two motors to maintain and fuel.
