I saw it and its bin for sale for a few months. Wish it we're on east coast.

Will the shorty drives give me more bow lift? How about the 5 blade prop, will that give me more bow lift? It feels like there is too much boat in the water, feels like it's sticking. I see the guy thats going 109 has Imco shorty's and 5 blade props too. 850 HP doesn't hurt anything either.

I was talking to a gentleman at red eyes dock bar a couple of summers ago who showed me pictures of his single step dominator and he claimed it ran like 115 mph. He lives in the southern md area and ive seen his boat talked about on these forums.... If I didnt see it talked about on here I would have remained skepticle, even though he had pics and seemed legit those are crazy numbers to be throwing out there for a 32 step hull.... If im not mistaking the post on this website at the time I read it claimed it was the fastests dominator of the generation hull to date. I forget his name and its bugging me.

Was his name Tommy by chance?? He's known as "nitro tommy" down here! Apparently the boat has run 129.6 but that's only when he has his "race" pulleys on! We ran with him on several poker runs in a 28 skater and he never hit it. I love the guy but NO one has ever seen the boat run over 90. Just sayin.....

Yes, I have my spectre. I was out in it this morning. The guy that bought dragonheart went to a poker run the next year got in a race with a cigatrette lost control, spun out and sank it. I don't know what he did with it after that.

Imco neutral boxes and 1 or 2" shorties. Too much bow lift and it will dance on the pad and be a hand full to drive. You could do 2" up boxes and use your lowers to save $ but might need to add spacers if it doesn't work right.

I agree with the boxes, will give the boat more length and cleaner water to bite.

Boxes and shorties are going to be expensive but man they would be sweet... With the repropping also you are going to have some coin into all this though!!

When I installed the Imco shorties it felt like it gave my boat more stern lift. But I am running the Stern Jacks and with the stock lowers it had too much bow lift and was a handful at 90mph. Now with the shorties it handles MUCH better. I do run the trim tabs in the water a little to keep her from chine walking at 100mph. It might be scrubbing a little speed but it's nice and stable.
