Default What year 32 MCOB to buy?

Are there any years I should avoid with buying a 2006 or newer 32 MCOB SSR? My goal is to buy as new as I can afford, just making sure I don't step on any land mines, lol. Thanks for any advice!

Around '08 or so Wayne blocked the mold to add a small pad.. Some (like myself) prefer the small pad and others will prefer the straight vee. Otherwise there are really no land mines to speak of.

Here is an '08 that still has the straight vee at the keel at the transom:

On this '09 you can see the pad:

That is good info. Can I assume it was worth just a bit of speed but loosened up a bit as well? Thanks!

Not sure there is any speed difference, but the boat will have slightly less tendency to lean one way or the other with the pad. With twins it is not as big of deal since you can slightly adjust the trim levels of each engine to counter cross wind lean, etc. Theoretically the straight V will give you slightly softer landings in rough conditions.
