Default X dimension help please, 24' Rocket

A friend and I recently purchased an older (1993) 24' Sunsation. The boat was originally built as an "A" class raceboat. The boat had an OMC King Cobra outdrive, which is being replaced with a Bravo I. My question is: what is the X dimesnsion for this boat. Currently the centerline for the prop shaft is 7" below the bottom of the pad. The drive looks too deep to me. If someone could measure the bottom of the boat (pad) to the centerline of the prop shat, I would appreciate it!
Eventually we would like to run in P5 or A class.
Thanks for your anticipated response!

I have a 2001 Aggressor with a Imco SC 2" shortened drive. I can measure my X tomorrow evening. With the shortened drive I have marked neutral position on the mechanical indicator and can only trim just over 1 position above. I am using a lab finished Bravo 1 prop. Before with stock power a Mirage worked best with the deep X.

Ray, Aggressor,
Thanks for the responses.
Ray Congratulations on your 2nd place finish in Cambridge! I hear you almost pulled off a major upset! Are you going to do St. Pete?
We're hoping to get the boat in the water this weekend-if all goes well.

Robert,

Wayne knows the boat you're talking about, he set that x dimension originally 1" higher than normal and says you should be able to put the bravo on as it is and be fine. If you have more questions, pleaes feel free to call us.

Bob,

Thanks. The old Rocket ran good in Cambridge. Everyone we talked to said we looked good. I don't know how far back we finished but we were closing at the end. We will be in St. Pete. Are you going to be there?
