P class should go back to top end break out GPS, and not average speed , its the only accurate way the officials can control racing P class as well as the racers. WALT

Walt,
Sorry we missed the race, sounds like you guys had a good one. Hopefully we should be able to make Panama...

In response to Walt's post, I have to say that "Offshore" has become more of a contest rather than a race.

This only confirms my stand of, "Build boats for classes, not classes for boats."

Probably the only fair thing to do at this point would be to throw out all the lap times/speeds and place boats in the order that they finished the race.

Sure it is Augie,

How much faster is everyone's averages?

Mark, I finally agree with you! No matter what system you use, there will always be issues. The results are not official, SBI is looking into this. So calm down call your rep, have them talk to SBI. Thanks Smitty

I give you guys a lot of credit for hanging in there. I can't imagine what it felt like. Big Ballz in my book, and for 6+ laps, too. Hope things heal up well, and you're back to racing real soon!

Good, luck,
Brian

Easy there, Big Guy... we already had one incident with a dislocated shoulder this weekend, I'd hate to see you with one, too. (from patting yourself on the back)
