Thanks to everyone that made the trek to the city named after a state.

From what I saw EVERYONE had a great time & next year WILL be better. With the turnout this year next year is bound to attract more teams & spectators. Ant "1st" event always has a few glitches- It's new to all. Yeah, mistakes were made & I'm sure many will be corrected by next year. I'll even be able to find my way around better.

If ya gotta complaint - that's fine - but how about suggesting a fix for your *****.

Also special thanks to Jason Miller who did a killer job of putting the "butts in the bleachers" with little advertising.

If they find out, I got big problems

I will have to drop my carple tunnel lawsuit against Michigan City, Sarasota, Ocean City, Biloxi etc. for making me sighn to many posters

My dream of having t2x call a race from a helo will die with it

Haggin will make us race Monster trucks

I’ll have to cut my hair

The newspapers will have to sell the front page picture at every race site to Snuggles or Oxy Clean

Obama will form a new gov’t agency to run and regulate offshore racing.

My driver Marc will have to go back to 3 martini lunches and golf on Fridays.

I will have to re up my captains license to handle a 78ft Rybovich that Haggin wants to buy and paint yellow, then spend the next 5 years fishing Sportfish Tournaments around the world.
HAHAHA ,,whhhhhaaaaaaat ???

Scotty ,,this is the best post on here,,,but hey PLEASE don't cut your hair.

A 78 Rybo and worldwide fishing sounds pretty good to me!

Yea Scotty, count me in. I made more money sport fishing than racing boats.
The only negative comments we got then were from all the dead fish.

MC Race

AS a local, we sure had a great time being the start/finish boat! Pics I got were phenomenal! We used to go to Grand Haven, MI 20 years ago for the APBA races, this was much better organized, and the course was way better for the spectators than what they used to do in Grand Haven, IMHO.

Everyone I have spoke with about the race locally is excited beyond belief. This is just what sleepy ol' Michigan City needed! We go to 2 air shows each year (Gary and Chicago) and this was way more exciting/interesting.

Thanks Pat, and Jason, and all race teams, for a well organized event that the locals will talk about for a long time.

Can't wait till next year!

Tom.......
I knew you must be having a great time because you didn't leave the race course when it was over.
It was so great to have so many volunteers so excited and eager to participate.
Thanks for all your help and we will see you next year.

A whole fleet of powerboat enthusiasts from Chicago area came over in mass! Hundreds of pleasure craft and hot boats!

I think the event was a smash hit! Home-run out of the ballpark!

Great Job SBI, and all the teams who made the race a reality...

I was at the race, I agree, new fans with positive comments. We will be there next year. Very well organized. Fans for miles. Jeffrey McCann
