Trust me they were counting on going through tech. They were not counting on a brand new set of Herrings that just arrived to be "out of spec"

I know very well that thinned props make a difference but your inference that " they tried that move" is out of line.

As an example in Most forms of Motorsports if a vehicle leaves the course or "cuts " the course there is no penalty as long as the incident did not further their position. Why then if this infraction had no impact on the final finish position should they be DQ'd????

first off, thats not what i typed. here it is agian

" i doubt this is the first time someone tried that move. "

i was not pionting to them but making a general reference.

next, since you know that "thinned" props make a difference, how can you complain about them being DQ'ed.

that's like having bigger carb in Daytona, then blaming Holley Carburator and then saying it should NOT really matter since 2nd place was really far back because of a pass thru penalty???

next, and I speaking just what I've seen done with props that we race, is that we take them and have tech-ed by whoever is doing tech. just so there's no issues later.

Your quote
"sounds like someone was counting on NOT having to go thru TECH inspection"
whom may I ask were you referring to?

i was referring to them. tech sometimes varies on whats looked at and too what degree. you really think Miami, Sarasota and KW have the same degree on tech

and apperently they didn't pass. and just so i understand you, your pointing to Herring. or are you saying that the props measure to spec but were failed because of political reasons?

tzrider 07-04-2010 10:03 PM

therefore your inferring they knowingly cheated!!

no your inferring that.

i was inferring that they weren't going to have to go thru tech period. there was 2 boats in the class, seriously?

and your still avoiding the questions i raised.

your inferring that SBI DQ'ed them because of political reasons.

OK guys, back to the original question. Results please from all classes not just the one with 2 boats. Speaking of that, how many boats were racing all total? Thanks
