Can someone confirm?
Racing in New York will take place on Saturday and not Sunday this year ??? I would guess they would not have a permit for Sunday being as it will be the 911 Anniversary...
Just want to make sure as I set my schedule for the season....

The rulebook says that only monohulls can be in P3 @ 95 so if your boat is the one pictured in your avatar, you would have to run in P2 @ 105.
Well unless monohull means something that nobody has filled me in on yet.

F1-00 the boat in my Avatar is my old race boat, Have not raced since 2001 or so and that boat is a 25 motion. The one I'm asking about which class it would be in is a 32A Skater outboard cat. Thanks for any input you can throw my way...Micheal...

I certainly will try, but I have a Poker Run to shoot on Saturday morning.
Last year I got there right at the start of the race as there was a little bit of a rain delay. That was in my favor.
It was a close call being as the race lasted just under an hour.
It was the shortest coverage I think I ever did at an event. After the race, the rain started coming down again. Not a whole lot of time for pics or to socialize once it started to pour...

Per the rulebook on page 16 of the SBI tech rules( link is earlier in this thread) it states that you would have to be in P2(105) being that you have a cat. My suggestion would be to call the SBI office and discuss your particular situation. SBI's # is 305-296-6166.
