Why were there two races? I know the schedule said there were going to be two races but I figured with the number of boats that were they and the rain delaying the race that they decided to run all the boat together and I missed the start of the second race because. After the first race my kids wanted to go to the zoo and I figured there wasn't a second one so we went to the zoo and while walking around in the zoo I could hear a couple of boats and then I saw them and looked at my wife and said they are racing again so we hurried the thru the zoo and went back to the beach to see the rest of the race. I was disappointed in the boat count but the boats that were there put on a great show and already to go back next year, we haven't missed one yet.
