SV line up KW

Kevin,
I could really care less about your financials, dont care if you are white, blue, or yellow collar. We both put our pants on the same way, one leg at a time. Actually it was a compliment about your intelligence and smart business decisions. I assumed yours is a multi million dollar business as I walked into the other office and saw a picture of your facility. Then I remembered, maybe I should have spelled it out as it seemed nobody took the time to read the rulebook, how the hell can they properly interpret simple english on a forum... I have been pestered all year long, to the point of annoyance, that you are a great guy and "he is starting to see through Randy's BS" so after Solomons I reached out to a mutual acquaintance of ours in order to get in touch with you and throw some things by you and got the response about a week thereafter, "Dont bother, he's still got Randy's **** in his mouth" I think that comment was a little extreme, but I cant control the information that I receive....
Then again, I see that trying to work on obtaining the same results while saving $10,000.00 is kinda pointless. I beg of anyone to point out where I said we shouldnt race with stock motors. Yes seals are useless, as long as you have the proper tech enforcement you DONT need seals. For those in the cheap seats, I'll say it again, OPA already has the proper tech equipment in order to enforce any specs that is agreed upon. It just needs to be utilized.
Short history lesson, my 29 has a stock 500EFI, the 38 has twin stock 525's... Me personally has gotten how many races(hours) with 1 freshen in 2007 on a 2001 500.. Then again, I do have a pretty elaborate maintenance program. I'm not really into bastardizing motors as I do feel that it does diminish the lifespan and reliability of it. Yet you guys are so hung up on sending your motors off to get sealed, you assume that I am saying that we need to run non stock motors. Once again, I have to keep reminding myself that I am dealing with guys that cant read a rule book. Keep in mind I ran with stock setups in Bracket classes(after F1 &F2 no longer existed) as if you race you have to have some confidence, I begged my class to look, touch feel, do whatever they wanted to, to my motors, but they had better realize that it wasnt the motors beating them, it was the team in the cockpit.
The current mentality up north svl is if your not in our click and you can beat us, we'll change the rules and get rid of you. Look at what you did with Sunprint and Boatfloater... You guys can cry motors all day long.. you flat out got beat by two tremendously talented teams. The inspector went through the data logger and your(the rest of the class) speeds were faster than theirs...
In summary, all the political crap all over Facebook, I saw something that really applies here:
A Liberal is somebody who wants you to think like them
A Conservative is somebody who just wants you to think
In those terms, Randy is a liberal, I am a conservative
When you can find where I ever said we shouldnt run stock motors, please respond, but my suggestion is that instead of being a keyboard warrior like your spineless master(you did call yourself his apprentice) look me up in Key West and you can tell me to F myself like a man(and I wont even fine you lol) or take 5 minutes and sit down in order to discuss how to save money(you did say you are on a budget), keep a level playing field, while having fun. Its real easy, but I leave the choice to you. Best of luck and safety to you and Britt in KW.

Trent,
The personal attacks on Kevin and Randy are making you look like a *****. You are not proving a point with these useless personal attacks. The only point you have made, that is true, is that none of the racers in OPA's SVL class bothered to read the rule book. Kudos to you, for reading the rule book. The reason none of the 6 OPA SVL teams (Typhoon, Tug It, LSB, Steady Pumpin', Wild Ride and Pirate) bothered to read the rule book, was because all of these owners agreed upon racing with a Merc sealed 525. All 6 of these teams sent their engines to Merc prior to the start of the 2013 season. Had all 6 of these teams showed up to race at each race, we would have had an awesome and exciting class to watch. However, as Kevin pointed out, there were some incidents that prohibited several teams from making numerous races. Jim Simmons was a big supporter of all the teams racing with an unbiased engine builder's engine; Merc. As for why the rules were sent in without the correct terminology, none of us know. However, since every race this season (except for Solomon's), only had the before mentioned 6 OPA SVL teams, it was never a concern.
If you want to have an intelligent conversation with Randy, Wil or Kevin, you might want to go about it, in a more professional and mature manner.
Just my thoughts, but I am just the cheerleader at a pep rally.

Bullhead, Thank you for trying to get this train wreck back on the rails and on topic, but 1st I have to thank Trent..
Trent, I guess I do owe you an apology.. The fact that you think I make such good business decisions should answer your own question as to why we feel that running this package makes sense.. And seeing that we have all admitted that we have trouble reading our own rules ( which as I stated will be addressed for next season), maybe it's time for you to consider a career change?? From what I've seen and heard out of you for the past few years you really seem to have a knack for sorting through, quoting, anylyzing, and tearing apart what people write.. Now I am sure you cut a mean lawn, but in my professional business opinion, why not make a career at what you excel at?? Seems to me that someone with your talent would be priceless in congress in the battle against Health Care reform.. You would be doing the country a service with your insight and ability reading through bills and policies to get us on the right track, much like you have done to us in OPA, SVL.. So I say thank you.. I will refer back to Scott's post a few ago for my response to some of your other questions..
Just wanted to point out 1 other thing Buddy... You made a comment about me having Randy's **** in my mouth... Dude, it's ok to say "BEER" on a public forum, u don't have to use those ** things.. Now if you meant something else by that, I would hope you would find me in Key West and tell me face to face.. Now in order to do that you will have to pry yourself away from those Gay bars I hear you frequent.. (Sorry I don't go to those) And hopefully when I see you I will say to your face "Go **** Yourself", and I will explain, to your face what those **** things mean.. Ok now I know I'm busy at work and you have a lot of grass to cut so I'll be signing off for now! Thanks again for the good luck wishes in KW.. See ya there!!

Trying to stay out of this, but. There are at least three teams that were on fire to jump into this class. And follow the OPA structure. At this point they are sitting back scratching their heads wondering why get involved. I know everyone wants the same thing. Growth. But all of this just turns people away. Trent we spoke last week, and obviously you just can't control yourself. So here it is, one more negative post in any direction, and you won't have to worry about OPA rules. You will be suspended. This is not personal so don't make it out to be. The same will apply to anyone who in my mind is hampering the growth of this class. hate to be the bad guy but WTF. Smitty
