I was talking to Rod from Race Crafters about how disappointing it must be for you not to finish. He explained that it's all part of a massive R&D project. I guess if you're moving technology into the future you have to expect a bump or two in the road. Best of luck, see you in Dania. SQ
Steve,

Hopefully we're done with the R&D...actually the motors ran great...broke a prop shaft See you in Dania.

Steve, it was a great complement that Lee gave Smitty and I along with The Jersey Boyz when we arrived in Sarasota and a couple of other teams agreed, THANKS. We race where we want but where the bodies tell us and we have a ball doing it. It's about time everything is coming together. All the fun we have is because of the people we meet along the way. See you all in Reggieville, Augie

I'll check the hull # tomorrow. We are really anxious to get working on it. Thought about running the 525 but I think we would be bored to death. Too used to big power. I have a dry sump 840 hp we are going to drop in and test. Jr says best part of this boat is we can roll it and spend the weekend...............

I think that boat had a 1,000 HP engine in it back around 2000. They had a Lexan engine hatch on it at one point to show off the piece. Does it still have the Teflon coating underneath?

It was origanally Tod Werners of Flowmaster/ProMarine, then some guys from PA called eagle motorsports, then the Kostalac's had it , then Q Ball now it's the Next Wazzup. I know it was one of the first few built but it sat unrigged for awhile.

Still has some coating on the bottom, needs to be flipped, lots of hooks....Looks to have had a delam on the port side, when repaired they put a major hook in the inside chine.

Augie,
Lee tells it like it is. Things are moving in a good direction and the Boyz have had a lot to do with it.
Hey, remember there is not a lot of nightlife in Washington NC. We all need to come prepared for a Big Pit Party. We might need to set the bar lower, maybe an all time low. SQ
